When it comes to automotive warranties, many people are confused. You might not know which type of warranty you want because you don't know what each kind covers. At Ferrari of Atlanta, we want to clear up some of the confusion so that you can make informed buying decisions, so here are some of the major differences between powertrain warranties and bumper-to-bumper warranties.

Powertrain warranties cover some of the most expensive pieces of equipment that are responsible for the propulsion of the vehicle. Some of these pieces of equipment include the engine, driveshaft, and transmission.

Bumper-to-bumper warranties cover a lot more components, making them more desirable to have but also more expensive to purchase. Some of the components that are commonly covered under bumper-to-bumper warranties include the powertrain system, electronics, suspension, air conditioning, and many other pieces of equipment. As the name suggests, it covers many components between your bumpers, but it actually doesn't cover the bumpers and the rest of the body.
